Decorative Painting Class
Basic / Intermediate
4 students per class, 12 yrs and above
4 lessons 2.5 hrs S$350 ( max 4 -5 students only )
1 to 1 session 1 hr S$150 , 2nd hr $120
Out of studio classes
$440 per person for every 4 regular lessons
Beginner requires to buy Starter Kit which cost about S$200 depending on the course you are enrolling.
Starter Kit includes Sta- wet palette, brushes, paints, stylus, graphite paper and other materials.
Students need to notify at least 3 days in advance for absence. Class for that lesson will be forfeited if student fails to do so.
Basic Course
Introduction to decorative painting materials
and supplies
Surface preparation, basecoating and finishing
Use of round brush / flat brush / liner
Daisies / one stroke / 2 strokes leaves (Round brush + liner)
Mini – Rose buds
Strawberries (simple) – (Angle brush / Flat brush / liner)
Fuzzy bears- painting on wood, fabric, canvas
Faux finishes- different background effects, crackling,
marbleizing, sponging, speckling, antiquing, woodgraining and softening.
Intermediate Course
More practice of previous flowers in other formats
Pansies (Flat brush)

At present, I have morning classes on every Thursday and Friday
9.30am to 12.00pm, Sat mornings 9-11am, 11-1pm
Do register early, so that you can get your preferred timeslot.
You can also choose any projects that you prefer ( from my gallery). Classes will be conducted at my homestudio, Petir Road, near Bukit Timah area, Singapore; and about 20 minutes bus ride from Orchard Road .Take a peek of my studio at my homepage or gallery.
Acrylic Painting Class

4 lessons 2.5 hrs $380 inclusive of usage of paints and art materials and a 18 x 14 inches canvas.

Brush Calligraphy
6 students per class (above 12 years old)
1 lesson only 3.5 hrs S$120 , inclusive of all materials, brushpen, set of drills, palette with paints
In the Brush Calligraphy class, student will be taught how to
write all the 8 basic strokes and form all the alphabets with the basic strokes. Students might take 1 lesson to learn the miniscules or lowercase, students should be able to write a short quote or phase.

Watercolour Painting
4-5 students per class (above 12 years old)
4 lessons 2.5 hrs S$350. 2hrs for Saturday and evening clsses. ( max 4 students only)
4 lessons 2.5 hrs $370 inclusive of all materials.
Florals, floralwreaths, sea animals, furry animals, sweet treats, simple landscapes.
PortFolio Preparation for DSA
Artathomestudio is offering Portfolio Preparation Classes for students who are keen to enrol for SOTA, the School of The Arts or DSA programmes. These classes require about 2-3 years to prepare, so parents should enrol your children when they are about 9-10 years old.
3- 4 students per class
4 lessons 2 hrs each S$450 ( incliusive of all materials such as canvas, paints, brushes, varnish, paints mediums, modelling clay, markers, sketchbooks)
1 to 1 session 1 hr S$150 ( incliusive of all materials such as canvas, paints, brushes, varnish, paints mediums, modelling clay, markers, sketchbooks)
Portfolio preparation includes 2 sketch books, 1-2 sculptures, at least 3-4 paintings, 1-2 diorama (miniature modelling)
PortFolio Preparation for SOTA requires assessment, to avoid disappointments, start your children young.
